As a busy mother of 4, I spend a lot of time in the kitchen preparing meals and snacks, and cleaning up from those same meals and snacks. Because of that, I am always on the lookout for new, innovative products to make my life a little easier or more fun and interesting.
I came across Smart Planet from an internet search one day, and was highly impressed with their eco-friendly household items!

Smart Planet offers a wide array of products, from hot hydration cups, cold hydration cups, to collapsible meal kits and various home innovations such as cupcake makers and indoor BBQ's! There is something for everyone and the best thing is, it's ALL eco friendly, so you really can't go wrong!
For my review, I received the Collapsible Deluxe Salad Bowl.
This salad bowl contains a silicone base that is dishwasher and microwave safe. There's a handy toppings tray, dressing container, and reusable spork that is conveniently stored with inside the lid of the bowl.
Perhaps the coolest thing about this bowl, is that it expands to be DOUBLE the size you see above! To do so, simply pull up. When you are done and ready to store it in the cupboard or in the refrigerator with leftovers, simply push down gently to collapse it!
The Smart Planet Collapsible Deluxe Salad Bowl is ideal for work lunches, picnics, or anyplace you may need to eat on the go.
However, we have only used it for home so far, and I absolutely LOVE it! The day I received it, we were planning a salad with dinner that night. I figured that was the perfect time to put this bowl to the test and made our salad in it, and served it from that bowl. We have another bowl we usually use, but it's HUGE and hard to store the leftover salad in it because it takes up so much room in the refrigerator. This bowl was perfect! It fit our whole salad, which had a LOT of items in it!
When we were done with dinner, I put the cover on the bowl, pushed down to collapse it, and it stored easily in the refrigerator and took up very little room. The salad stayed very fresh in the bowl too, when we went to have some more the following day.
I also love that when the bowl is not in use, it's easy to store and takes up little to no room to store in the cupboard. This is a huge positive since we have little cupboard space!
Overall, I was very satisfied with this salad bowl, and found that it's SUCH an easy and neat product! I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family, and it has definitely seen a great deal of use in our home in the short time we have had it!
